Meet Our Founder
As my daughter grew into adulthood, I realized something profound: her desire for connection, purpose, and joy didn’t disappear when school ended—but the opportunities did. She and her friends still wanted to learn, create, laugh, and be part of a community, yet the options available to adults with intellectual disabilities were limited and often lacked the meaningful daily experiences they deserved.
I heard the same concerns from other parents. We all wanted a place where our adult children could spend their days feeling valued, engaged, and included—not simply supervised. A place where they could build friendships, explore interests, and enjoy a full, vibrant life.
That shared need became my calling. I made the decision to step away from my career and build the kind of program I wished existed for my daughter: a warm, safe, and joyful environment designed around meaningful days.
Bailey & Friends was created with that purpose at its heart. Every activity, routine, and relationship in our program is built around one belief—that adults with intellectual disabilities deserve days filled with purpose, creativity, friendship, and fun.
What began as a mother’s hope for her daughter has grown into a community for families who want the same thing: a place where their loved ones can thrive, feel connected, and experience the joy of a truly meaningful day.
